ACE FREHLEY: New Photos From Halloween Concert Posted Online
November 6, 2007New photos from original KISS guitarist Ace Frehley's October 31, 2007 concert at the Hard Rock Café in New York City as part of the Eddie Trunk Halloween Bash have been posted online at this location. The photos are accompanied by an eyewitness account of the event by rock and roll comic C.C. Banana, who won the official Halloween Bash costume contest by dressing as "Ace Peeley, The Psycho Citrus".
Frehley is aiming for a January 2008 release date for his new solo album. The guitarist — who recently celebrated one year of sobriety after relapsing during the summer of 2006 — has finished recording around 10 new songs for the effort but is looking to lay down two or three more in the next couple of months in order to make the CD "really special," he revealed during an appearance on "Friday Night Rocks".
Ace's new album was reportedly recorded with a trio of Ace, Anton Fig on drums and new bassist Anthony Esposito (LYNCH MOB).
As previously reported, Frehley was a guest on Eddie Trunk's "Friday Night Rocks" radio show on New York's Q104.3 FM on October 5.
